Pengaruh Model Project Based Learning terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas III Sekolah Dasar
Learning mathematics, especially measuring weight and standard units, remains difficult for third-grade students, and less varied instruction leaves them passive. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at UPTD SDN Telagabiru 1. It was a quantitative quasi-experimental study with a posttest-only control group design. The subjects were 43 students: 22 students of class III A in the experimental class (PjBL) and 21 students of class III B in the control class (conventional learning). Data were collected through a learning outcome test and analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene's test, and an independent sample t-test. The mean score of the experimental class (75.32) was higher than that of the control class (66.05). The data were normally distributed and homogeneous, and the t-test yielded a calculated t of 4.644, greater than the t table value of 2.020, with a significance value below 0.001. Therefore, PjBL had a significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes.
