Model for forming a portfolio of financial assets of a knowledge-intensive industrial enterprise taking into account return, liquidity and technological sustainability

The article examines the problem of forming a portfolio of financial assets for a knowledge-intensive industrial enterprise. It is substantiated that, for such enterprises, a portfolio of financial assets cannot be assessed only through the classical relationship between return and risk. For a knowledge-intensive industrial enterprise, it is important that the portfolio is able to ensure liquidity, support the continuity of research and development activities, and reduce threats associated with technological dependence, rising costs of equipment and components, and a long innovation cycle. The purpose of the study is to develop a model for forming a portfolio of financial assets that takes into account the enterprise’s return, liquidity, and technological sustainability. The research methods include systems analysis, the coefficient method, normalization of indicators, elements of portfolio theory, and the scenario approach. The practical significance of the model lies in the possibility of applying it to the management of temporarily available funds of knowledge-intensive industrial enterprises.
