A dynamical dark sector and the forgotten quantum: an MQT reading of the 2025-2026 cosmological shift

An assessment of the 2025–2026 shift in fundamental physics and a reading of it through Macrobiotic Quantum Theory (MQT). Over the period the Standard Model hardened (the muon g−2 anomaly dissolved, the W-mass outlier returned to the Standard-Model value, the flavour anomalies faded, LHC Run 3 closed with no new particle), while cosmology opened: DESI DR2 (with CMB and supernovae) favours a time-varying (dynamical) dark sector at ~3–4σ, with an equation of state w(a) that was below −1 in the past and is relaxing toward −1 today (w_0 > −1, w_a < 0). This report shows that a dual, information-modulated vacuum makes a static cosmological constant the special case and a drifting dark sector the generic one. An evolving vacuum direction θ_v(a) yields the observed CPL-like sign pattern with no new tuned scalar and no ghost at the phantom crossing: w(a) = −1 + (1/3) tanθ_v (dθ_v/d ln a), so ΛCDM is recovered exactly as the frozen limit. The tightening sub-ppm bounds on a varying α and the null on dot-G/G do not refute the picture: because α_eff and G_eff share one information field, their drifts are locked in the fixed ratio η/β, so the two null results together cap the drift amplitude and test MQT's signature prediction, while the GR-confirming GW250114 waveform sits in the strong-field limit where the theory requires θ_v → 0. Percentages in the scorecard are reasoned qualitative judgments, not measured data; the absolute value of α remains an order-of-magnitude identification. The note stays strictly on the public MQT surface.
