Student Performance Analysis Using Python-Based Data Analytics and Visualization
Educational institutions generate academic data through examinations, assignments, attendance, classroom activities, andlearning-management systems. Analysing these records can help educators understand performance patterns, identifystudents who may benefit from support, and evaluate whether teaching interventions are effective. This paper proposes aPython-based Student Performance Analysis system that combines data preparation, descriptive statistics, exploratory dataanalysis, and visualisation. The workflow uses structured student records, validates data quality, explores relationshipsamong attendance, study habits, assessment scores, and final results, and presents findings through charts and summarytables. Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn provide a practical foundation for the analysis. Thedesign also discusses optional predictive modelling, with careful separation of training and testing data and transparentevaluation. The system is intended to support educators rather than label or penalise students. Privacy, fairness, responsibleinterpretation, and human review are treated as essential requirements. Since this manuscript describes a proposed workflowand no dataset-specific experiment has been conducted for it, no measured results or accuracy claims are fabricated
