Model of the Phenomenon (English Translation)

The Model of the Phenomenon consists of five theses proposing that everything be described as one phenomenon. The model introduces no external entities and presupposes no separate subject. Time, space, truth, and the “I” are treated as concepts that structure experience rather than as fundamental grounds. The model itself is also a concept within the phenomenon. This work is exploratory in nature. The model is applied to a number of traditional philosophical questions: consciousness and qualia, the problem of other minds, free will, meaning, and cognition. The aim is not to provide definitive answers to these questions in their traditional formulations, but to describe how they arise within the phenomenon and what follows from accepting the model. The text consists of a concise formulation of the model and a list of implications grouped by topic. The implications are examples of the model’s applicability, not an exhaustive list. The text then offers illustrative examples and examines the model through dreaming, doubt, and other universes. This text is an English translation of the original Russian work, Модель явления (Model of the Phenomenon). The original Russian version is available at: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23251395 The English translation was prepared with the assistance of AI. Terminology note: “Experiencing” translates переживание, while “experience” translates опыт; “sensory experiencing” translates чувственное переживание. This distinction is intentional and reflects the model’s terminology. Full text (machine-readable version) https://prostostone.github.io/Monophenomenalism/model_en.txt
