Call for Applications for 2027 DataCite Steering and Working Groups

DataCite has opened its annual call for applications to join the Community Engagement Steering Group, the Services and Technology Steering Group, and the Metadata Working Group, with terms beginning in January 2027. This post outlines each group’s focus areas, member responsibilities, and the application process. Applications are open through 19 November 2026, and applicants will be notified of decisions in mid-December.
