The scalar-tensor resonance: operative coupling, the stiffness of the vacuum, and the emergence of historical embeddedness
We propose a structural hypothesis unifying mass generation, dark matter, dark energy, and the layered manifold of time through a single operative mechanism: the scalar-tensor resonance of the vacuum. In this framework, the transition from the invariant face (symmetries, atemporal structure) to the contingent face (matter, spacetime, history) is driven by the coupling of scalar fields (which resist changes in magnitude) and tensorial fields (which resist changes in shape or geometry). We demonstrate a fractal isomorphism: the scalar (Higgs) and tensor (Gluon) coupling that generates quantum mass mirrors the scalar (Bulk) and tensor (Shear) coupling that generates cosmic structure (Dark Energy and Dark Matter). We argue that this stiffness of the vacuum is the "friction" that pulls entities out of the pure signal of cosmic time (traveling at c) and into inertial time (possessing a rest frame). Finally, we show that the accumulation of these scalar-tensor interactions constitutes the thermodynamic trace of the universe, creating historical embeddedness. The hypothesis is subjected to a coherence scan using the Category Error Detector (CED)
