Self-Defeating Socio-Economic Feedback Loops: Mathematical Modeling of Statutory Deforestation Laundering in the Amazon Basin and the Boomerang Effect of Academic Loss and Infrastructure Destruction in French High School Protests
This monograph formulates a coupled mathematical and macroeconomic governance model analyzing two prominent self-defeating socio-environmental feedback loops observed in 2026: (1) the failure of punitive, transition-free deforestation crackdowns in the Brazilian Amazon (Novo Progresso, Pará) followed by "statutory laundering" (reclassifying illegal land clearing as legal), and (2) the boomerang effect of French high school blockades and destructive protests (blocus lycéens), where instructional time loss and physical infrastructure damage directly erode student human capital and future youth socio-economic welfare. First, in the Amazon subsystem, we prove that maximizing enforcement E(t) while neglecting livelihood transition support S_trans(t) ≈ 0 triggered a nonlinear electoral swing from 55% Lula support (2010) to >84% Bolsonaro support (October 2026). We formalize the Statutory Laundering Operator Λ_law ∈ [0,1], showing via Goodhart's Law that legalizing deforestation drives apparent illegal clearing D̃_illeg(t) to zero on paper while accelerating actual physical canopy destruction D'_total(t) past the Amazon dieback tipping point (1 - F_crit ≈ 20%–25%) and the 0.04 Sv Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) shutdown threshold. Second, in the French education subsystem, we model human capital accumulation H(t) under protest-induced school blockades Δt_protest and riot-induced public/private property destruction C_destr. Using Mincer earnings equations and municipal fiscal allocation constraints, we prove a strict double-negative feedback loop: school blockades irreversibly degrade cognitive mastery H(T_grad) and lifetime wages W_future, while the fiscal cost of repairing destroyed urban and school infrastructure C_repair is directly crowded out from net educational investment I^net_edu and youth employment creation J_youth. Finally, we propose an RTO P2.0 and QFS-zkVM deterministic governance architecture over the 64-bit Goldilocks prime field (F_p, p = 2^64 - 2^32 + 1) that replaces destructive political theater and statutory manipulation with hardware-verified physical invariants and autonomous community livelihood infrastructure. Archival Series: Autonomous Infrastructure & Deterministic Quantum Systems Monograph Series — Monograph #231 (Total Record #251).
