LAND RESOURCE POTENTIAL OF AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE TARSKY DISTRICT OF THE OMSK REGION

Agricultural land is of great importance to the Russian Federation and its constituent entities, as it forms the basis for economic development, ensures the population’s access to food and resources, and is also a subject of property relations. The relevance of the scientific study is due to the need to provide the Tara District with a stable food base that will contribute to the district’s economic development. An analysis of the largest farms has revealed significant imbalances in the use of land resources and their potential. Instability and low profitability lead to a decrease in the attractiveness of developing agricultural production, threaten food security, and reduce the number of available jobs. To increase the use of land and resource potential, it is necessary to develop scientifically grounded mechanisms for managing agricultural land, including precision farming and optimization of the resources used.
