The Lord's Choice(s)

I intend to explore Scripture and reflect on questions about God's choices, one at a time, as they come to mind. These questions may seem rather childish. Most of them will probably be recollections of questions I used as justifications when, as a child, I resisted my mother and insisted on not going to church—even though the church was so close that I could practically reach it just by sticking my head out. Having said, each piece will go straight to the subject without discussing the reasons, motivations, or other background behind it. At the end of each piece, I will also describe the roles AI played in its preparation and the associated AI risks. Please be sure to refer to these disclosures. The Bible version used is the King James Version (KJV). Rules for Readings the Bible: Principle 1: Strict Adherence to Scripture (If something is stated in Scripture, it may be used. If it is absent from Scripture, it is treated as absent.) Principle 2: Absolute Integrity of the Original Biblical Text (The original wording of Scripture is inviolable.) Principle 3: Independence of Biblical Words and Expressions (No words, predicates, idioms, or sentences may be equated merely because they appear similar.) Principle 4: Strict Identification of Speakers and Channels of Divine Communication (The speaker and the channel through which each statement is communicated must be recorded exactly as presented in the biblical text.) Principle 5: Explicit Separation of Scriptural Statements and Inferences The topics listed under each version below serve as subtitles. Abstract
