SOYBEAN EMERGENCE AND PLANT STAND DENSITY AT THE END OF THE GROWING SEASON UNDER DIFFERENT SOIL SALINITY CONDITIONS

This article investigates soybean seed emergence and plant stand density at the end of the growing season under different soil salinity conditions in Ulugnor District, Andijan Region, Uzbekistan. The study was conducted in 2022 using the «Tomaris» soybean variety on non-saline, slightly saline, and moderately saline soils. The results showed that the emergence rate at the third observation stage was 78.24% on non-saline soils, 74.52% on slightly saline soils, and 71.67% on moderately saline soils. At the end of the growing season, these values were 77.15%, 73.26%, and 72.88%, respectively. The findings indicate an association between soil salinity levels, soybean seed emergence, and plant stand density at the end of the growing season. The results are of scientific and practical significance for improving soybean cultivation practices on salt-affected irrigated lands.
