Institutional Challenges and Digital Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs

Women Entrepreneurship is kind of a pillar that holds up global economic resilience, helps mix different kinds of jobs and somehow supports long-term social economic growth too. In today’s world Digital Transformation— driven by social commerce sites, cloud tools and new kinds of money tech— gives women founders fresh routes to get past older limits, mostly the ones that come from not having enough resources. Even so, there is still deep unfairness in the system. Biased ways of distributing funds, plus strict social rules keep slowing down the growth paths, and that part feels stubborn. This study builds a plan that looks at two sides, the help that comes from Digital Transformation, and the barriers that stay put. It zooms in on newer markets, for instance India. By using Institutional Theory and the 5Ms Framework, we can see how online shops, marketing efforts and FinTech money tools work like forces that lift Women Entrepreneurship. At the same time it checks why the digital gender gap stays around, why Capital Asymmetry keeps showing up in venture money decisions, and why work and home life clash for many women in daily reality. The study ends with evidence based policies that bring big economic players together with small businesses. The goal is to support the United Nations SDGs 5 and 8, and push Socio Economic Development so it can reach everyone.
