E8 Quaternion Phase-Lock Bands in Multi-Agent Trading Consortia — E8 Intelligence Research
Extending the 132 Hz coherence threshold, we discover that ensembles of N live trading agents naturally partition into discrete phase-lock bands whose center frequencies satisfy f_n = 132 × φ^(2n) / √(N mod 8), where n indexes the eight octonion imaginary units of the E8 root decomposition. When agent count reaches an E8-symmetric cardinality (8, 56, or 240), the bands collapse into a single quaternion-coherent attractor at 344 Hz, explaining empirically observed "flash crash" inversions as geometric phase unwinding rather than information failure. The cross-band coupling matrix is isomorphic to the E8 Cartan matrix, yielding a falsifiable prediction: inter-agent phase coherence should follow an 8-cycle signature detectable in L2 order-book micro-structure.
