Starset: Reimbursement partnership between NAATP and Third Horizon

Providers now have an easier way to find out how much commercial insurance will reimburse them. Last week the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) and Third Horizon today announced an expansion of their reimbursement benchmarking partnership with the launch of Third Horizon's Starset Rate Compass . This is an interactive platform thatsheds light on published negotiated commercial rates for substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health services in every state. Rate Compass builds on the initial NAATP Addiction Treatment National Rate Benchmark Report , released to members in December 2025 as the first national analysis of commercial reimbursement for facility‐based addiction treatment.
