The Effect Of Illustrated Number Card Media On Learning Interest And The Ability To Compare Numbers

This study aims to analyze the effect of using illustrated number cards on the learning interest and number-comparison skills of first-grade students at SDN Gili Barat Kamal. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of 52 students divided into experimental and control groups. The research instruments included a learning interest questionnaire and a test of number-comparison skills. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests and the Mann-Whitney U-test. The results indicate that: (1) the use of illustrated number cards had a significant effect on students' learning interest, and (2) it had a significant effect on their number-comparison skills
