Safety & Emergency: advancing breakthroughs in safety and emergency
Escalating global challenges in safety production risksThe world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century.Rapid urbanization, highly interconnected critical infrastructure, and the widespread application of new materials and technologies, while bringing immense benefits, have also spawned unprecedented systemic risks. The traditional and non-traditional safety risks, such as high-rise building fires, hazardous chemical disasters, extreme weather events, major natural disasters and safety incidents, and public health emergencies, are increasingly intertwined.Their mechanisms, evolutionary paths, and influence scope far exceed the traditional cognition, and posing severe challenges to existing safety theories and emergency response models.
