Pengaruh Media Chromebook Terhadap Kemampuan Bernalar Kritis Dan Pemahaman Penyajian Data

This study aims to analyze the impact of using Chromebooks on the critical reasoning skills and understanding of data presentation among elementary school students. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental design—specifically, a non-equivalent control group design. The study involved 42 fifth-grade students, divided into an experimental group of 22 students and a control group of 20 students. The research instruments consisted of tests measuring critical reasoning skills and understanding of data presentation, both of which had undergone validity and reliability testing. Data analysis involved prerequisite testing (normality and homogeneity) and hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney U test. The results indicate that: (1) the use of Chromebooks has a significant effect on critical reasoning skills, and (2) it has a significant effect on the understanding of data presentation. These findings demonstrate that integrating Chromebooks into mathematics instruction is effective in enhancing the higher-order thinking skills of elementary school students
