Green Synthesis, Spectral Characterization and Biomedical Evaluation of Copper Doped Molybdenum Oxide Nanoparticles from Costus Pictus Leaves Extracts

The use of plant leaf powder to produce nanoparticles (NPs) is currently gaining popularity in the field of nanotechnology and has several advantages over traditional physicochemical techniques. This research study is concentrated on the synthesis; characterization, and antibacterial, antifungal and anticancer activity of Cu doped MoO NPs The Cu-MoO NPs were synthesized using a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution combustion method using Costus pictus leaves powder as green reducer. Several techniques have been used to extensively characterize the structural and morphological properties of NPs. such as UV-Vis, FTIR, FL spectroscopy XRD, DLS, SEM with EDS, which is a popular approach in scientific investigation. Additionally, the antimicrobial activity was tested against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterial strain and Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger and Trichoderma viride fungal strains. Pairs of elecncer atrons and holes are the fundamental basis for generating reactive oxygen species that kill bacteria and fungi. Finally screened the anticancer activity has been evaluated against by using Hep G2 cell line and measure the IC50 values of the anticancer activity.
