This study examines the relationships among intrinsic motivation, workplace thriving, and spirituality among teachers in Nigeria. The researchers collected data from 399 teachers and analysed the data using structural equation modelling with SmartPLS 3 and SPSS. The results showed that workplace spirituality was positively and strongly associated with workplace thriving, while intrinsic motivation was also significantly associated with workplace thriving. Further analysis showed that the work meaningfulness mediated the relationship between workplace spirituality and workplace thriving. In addition, the interaction between workplace spirituality and intrinsic motivation significantly influenced workplace thriving. The findings highlight the importance of workplace spirituality, intrinsic motivation, and work meaningfulness in promoting workplace thriving among secondary school teachers. Important practical implications are presented.
