The Action Value Principle

This working paper proposes the Action Value Principle, the central proposition of Kirdomicism, an action-centric philosophy of adaptive human intelligence founded by Yanyong Thammatucharee. Modern societies measure human contribution mainly through money, which records exchange rather than consequence. The Action Value Principle states: "An action is worth what it changes, and good done never erases harm done." The value of an action is determined by the direction of its impact (benefit or harm) and its reach, from one person to the whole world. Benefit and harm are recorded separately and never netted against each other. The unit of Action Value is called the Avalrem. Two companion propositions complete the framework: "Aligned minds give direction, but the individual mind changes it" (on groups) and "The gap between knowing and doing is closed by self-force" (on execution). The paper sets out five axioms, distinguishes the principle from consequentialism, stakeholder theory, the triple bottom line, social return on investment and prospect theory, describes a first rule-based implementation in the KirV application, proposes five testable hypotheses, and states its limitations openly. It is offered as an invitation to test, critique and refine.
