Symmetry Solutions and Conserved Vectors for the (2+1)-D Generalized Calogero-Bogoyavlenskii-Schiff Equation

Abstract This paper investigates the (2+1)-dimensional generalized Calogero-Bogoyavlenskii-Schiff (2DgCBS) equation using symmetry analysis techniques. Using Lie point symmetries we compute the travelling waves solutions in the form of Weierstrass Zeta and incomplete elliptic integral functions. These solutions are significant milestones in the study of water waves in mathematical physics and engineering phenomena. Furthermore, we construct conserved vectors of the 2DgCBS equation by means of the multiplier approach and the Ibragimov’s method.

Abstract

Using Lie point symmetries we compute the travelling waves solutions in the form of Weierstrass Zeta and incomplete elliptic integral functions. These solutions are significant milestones in the study of water waves in mathematical physics and engineering phenomena. Furthermore, we construct conserved vectors of the 2DgCBS equation by means of the multiplier approach and the Ibragimov’s method.
