The impact of working in pairs on students' speaking skills

When learning a foreign language, speaking skills are of great importance. However, some students face some difficulties with this skill. The main reasons for this are that many students are unable to express their thoughts freely due to a lack of vocabulary, fear of making mistakes, and a lack of practical exercises. This article presents pairing as a solution to these problems, and provides sufficient reasons for doing so. Collaborative work allows language learners to communicate freely with each other, especially in a comfortable environment, exchange ideas, and practice speaking. In particular, this method helps to increase students' self-confidence and activity in the educational process. The study is based on an analysis of scientific literature on English language teaching and collaborative learning. The results of the analysis show that working in pairs allows students to communicate and use it in practice. In conclusion, working in pairs is a useful educational method in the process of language learning.
