Drawing on technologicalpedagogical content knowledge, the digital competence framework for educators, and research ononline professional development, the article clarifies the conditions necessary to realise theeducational potential of Internet technologies. The relationship between technology use andprofessional development is explained through instructional design, practical application, feedback, and reflection. Based on a theoretical synthesis, a methodological model is proposed thatencompasses needs assessment, expert evaluation of resources, collaborative design, practicalimplementation, and evidence-based revision. The article argues that evaluating the model requiresseparate consideration of changes in professional knowledge, transfer to teaching practice, andoutcomes in students’ learning activities.
