Entropy analysis over radiative marangoni convective nanofluid flow on an infinite porous disk

Entropy refers to the randomness and disorderness of the system, which significantly affects the efficiency and performance of thermal systems. The motive of the research article is to carry out the comprehensive analysis of entropy along with the effect of thermal radiation on the Marangoni convective flow of nanofluid over an infinite porous disk using a passive flow control technique. In this analysis, the unit effect thermal slip condition and Stefan's blowing have also been considered. Mathematical modeling has been done with the help of partial differential equation (PDE) which has been converted to a non-linear dimensionless ordinary differential equation (ODE) with the help of Karman's transformations. The analysis of flow variables along with Nusselt number has been carried out with the help of Matlab's BVP4C package in graphical form. Apart from that, entropy analysis has been carried out for the thermal system. The findings suggest that the Nusselt number increases corresponding to the increasing value of thermal radiation. Also, the entropy of the thermal system increases corresponding to the increasing value of thermal radiation and Brinkman number. This problem has significant potential for real-life applications, viz. material processing and manufacturing, environmental systems, and various industrial processes including cooling and heating operations.
