Clinical Outcome of Intravitreal Faricimab: A Case Report

Purpose: To present actual anatomical and visual outcomes after intravitreal Faricimab treatment in four patients with different retinal diseases: CRVO-associated Macular Oedema, Diabetic Retinopathy with CSME, CNVM with Macular Oedema, and Macular Oedema with suspected Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSCR). Case Presentation: This case series study comprises four patients who received an intravitreal loading regimen of Faricimab between February 2024 and July 2025 at the Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute. At baseline and follow-up, information was gathered on fundus examination, OCT macula findings, and best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA). Findings: In every instance, faricimab resulted in either stabilisation or improvement of macular thickness. Every patient experienced an improvement in visual acuity, with one patient showing a full recovery (from 6/60 to 6/6). Better results were linked to structural integrity and early intervention. Faricimab is effective for a variety of retinal conditions, and the greatest morphological and functional benefits are achieved at an early stage of treatment.
