Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas IV SD Inpres 104 Maradekaya Kab. Takalar

Andi Nur Ilmawati, T, 2026. The Effect of the Problem-Based Learning Model on the Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Fourth-Grade Students at SD Inpres 104 Maradekaya, Takalar Regency. Department of Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Education, Makassar State University (supervised by Ahmad Syawaluddin and Syamsuryani Eka Putri Atjo). This research was motivated by the inaccurate use of learning models and the suboptimal results of social studies learning. This study aims to: 1) Describe the Problem-Based Learning model in social studies learning for fourth-grade students at SD Inpres 104 Maradekaya, Takalar Regency. 2) Determine the social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres 104 Maradekaya, Takalar Regency. 3) Determine the effect of using the Problem-Based Learning model on the social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres 104 Maradekaya, Takalar Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data were collected through observation and tests (pretest and posttest), and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the use of the Problem-Based Learning model was categorized as very good and was able to significantly improve science learning outcomes. Based on the Paired Sample t-Test analysis, the significance value of 0.001 was less than 0.05, so the alternative hypothesis was accepted. The conclusions of the study were: 1) The use of the Problem-Based Learning model worked very well based on the observation sheet. 2) Students' science learning outcomes improved after the treatment. 3) There was a significant effect of the use of the Problem-Based Learning Model on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres 104 Maradekaya, Takalar Regency.
