Isolated Endobronchial Plasmacytoma in a Patient With Rheumatoid Arthritis Taking Methotrexate
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) can affect the respiratory system, with manifestations including infection, rheumatoid nodules, and lymphoproliferative disorders (LPDs). We report a case of an Epstein-Barr virus–encoded small RNA (EBER)-negative endobronchial plasma cell neoplasm in a patient with RA, suggesting that such lesions should be included in the differential diagnosis of endobronchial masses in patients with RA.
