Optimizing Sonographic Analysis of Superficial Soft-Tissue Masses
US is a highly effective imaging modality for the evaluation of superficial soft-tissue masses. The authors provide a practical and evidence-based guide for sonographers and radiologists, particularly those specializing in abdominal and musculoskeletal imaging, on how to optimize sonographic imaging and analysis of such lesions. Presented are best practices in image acquisition, a review of advanced imaging techniques, and discussion of image interpretation strategies, with the goal of improving lesion characterization and guiding clinical management.
