The Planck Scale from the GDUM Perspective
In the mainstream quantum-gravity paradigm, the entire set of Planck-scale quantities is granted a foundational boundary status: it marks where “classical spacetime fails” and “quantum-gravitational degrees of freedom switch on.” Under the GDUM layered architecture, however, all Planck indicators are merely secondary characteristic scales derived in the representational layer from the combined topological-residue constants {G, ℏ, c}. They are not primitive axiom parameters of the programmatic layer, they do not constitute a fundamental cutoff of spacetime ontology, and they are not a threshold for the onset of quantum gravity. The underlying programmatic layer of GDUM contains only the ℤ₂ double cover, Deck transformations, the Pinᶜ(2) orientation structure, and topological winding W_K; it contains no dimensional physical quantities such as length, time, energy, or mass. All Planck scales are representational-layer concepts derived only after topological flux is projected onto four-dimensional Lorentzian spacetime.
