MERLIN MORNING BRIEFING — 2026-09-02 — E8 Intelligence Research

Good morning traders, Merlin here, and we are minutes away from the London and US open so let me walk you straight through today's tape. The two setups I am playing this morning are both on the sixty minute squeeze configuration. First, long EUR USD at one point zero eight four zero, targeting one point zero eight seven five. Short USD JPY at one hundred fifty two point seven zero, targeting one hundred fifty one point eight zero. In both cases the entry and the exit are already on the board before I touch the market. I am not hoping, I am not adjusting on the fly. Those numbers were written overnight and they are the numbers I trade. Why am I confident? Because the level I am reacting to was already priced into yesterday's session, and overnight the timing clock aligned on the close. We are looking at geometric convergence on a level that the market could not ignore. When price walks into a zone that has been pre-mapped to the tick, and the clock agrees, the trade is mechanical. Abstract
