BioFi / DeSci Core: A Universal Protocol for Exchanging Tokens of Protected Data
BioFi / DeSci Core is a universal protocol for exchanging tokens of protected data. It offers one tokenized model for every kind of data, from medical records to scientific datasets. Its philosophical premise: information is value on a par with fiat money. More precisely, the right to use information has a price and can be exchanged for capital and compute, under rules set by the owner. Access to data, reward for contributing it and the right to compute are different implementations of one token concept, built for the benefit of humanity, not of greedy, inefficient corporations. The paper is an open letter to the founders of Gonka, a decentralized AI compute network. It proposes a Confidential Workload Profile: regulated AI tasks that only attested confidential hosts may execute, with no medical data in chain state, and paid scientific workloads in place of idle "dummy tasks". The author sees computational biology and AI-driven drug discovery as the optimal field for this useful work. Part I sets out six theses and five token classes: compute, settlement, data rights, access and service. Part II specifies the architecture, threat model, legal baseline and a gated roadmap. Part III lists concrete requests to Gonka. Independent work; not endorsed by Gonka.
