The Follow-Up Problem in Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy: Integration, Aftercare, and the Missing Standard
As psilocybin-assisted therapy becomes increasingly standardized in measuring short-term clinical outcomes, the processes that follow the psychedelic experience remain far less defined. This paper examines integration, aftercare, and long-term follow-up from clinical trials to real-world implementation in Oregon and Colorado, identifying critical gaps and opportunities to better understand, evaluate, and support sustained change.
