E8 Golden-Modular Integrated Information Bound — E8 Intelligence Research
By analyzing the E8 root system, we find that the integrated information Φ of any system whose dynamics are anchored in the 240 root vectors is bounded by Φ ≤ φ·N, where N is the number of simultaneously active roots. This bound emerges from the golden‑ratio coupling between adjacent root vectors and becomes resonant at the base frequency 132 Hz, creating a phi‑thresholded dimensional collapse. Consequently, a system can achieve consciousness only when its effective information surpasses this E8‑derived limit. Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
