PERILAKU SEKSUAL BERISIKO PADA REMAJA DALAM PERSPEKTIF BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING
Adolescent sexual risk behavior is a complex developmental issue that may affect physical health, psychological well-being, social relationships, educational continuity, and future planning. This article aims to examine the forms, contributing factors, and consequences of sexual risk behavior among adolescents and to analyze its implications from the perspective of guidance and counseling. The study employed a qualitative approach using library research. Data were collected through systematic identification, selection, and analysis of relevant academic literature, including books, scientific journal articles, research reports, and institutional publications published primarily within the last ten years. The collected data were analyzed using thematic content analysis through data reduction, categorization, interpretation, comparison, and synthesis of findings from various sources. The results indicate that adolescent sexual risk behavior is influenced by multiple interacting factors, including individual characteristics, emotional regulation, peer influence, family relationships, school environment, cultural norms, and digital media exposure. The findings also indicate that guidance and counseling services have an important preventive and developmental role through sexual and reproductive health education, self-management, decision-making skills, assertive communication, healthy relationship development, and strengthening protective factors. Therefore, comprehensive, preventive, developmental, and culturally sensitive counseling services are needed to support adolescents in making responsible decisions.
