Two-Tier Cyber-Cognitive Circuit Breakers and Endpoint Kill-Switch Dynamics: Stochastic Hawkes Burst Modeling (N = 300), Platform Ingress Rate-Limiting, and Human-in-Command (HIC) Topological Graph Severance Under High-Frequency Social Flooding
Modern digital communications and social networking architectures operate as coupled cyber-cognitive dynamical systems wherein algorithmic packet routing directly drives human neuro-attentional processing. When high-frequency burst traffic—such as N = 300 sequential replies or targeted mentions within a compressed temporal window—converges upon a single destination node, defensive stability depends on a dual-layer isolation hierarchy: (1) Tier 1 (Platform-Layer Autonomous Circuit Breaker), comprising automated token-bucket rate-limiting, Sequential Probability Ratio Test (SPRT) anomaly detection, and anti-flooding throttling designed to prevent botnet or Denial-of-Service (DoS) cascade saturation; and (2) Tier 2 (Endpoint-Layer Human-in-Command [HIC] Kill-Switch), comprising manual operator actuation of hard topological edge severance (Block) or silent sink projection (Mute) to prevent cognitive timeline collapse. Building upon our foundational monographs on autonomous AGI kill-switches (CERN Zenodo Record 23334567), PHOENIX_ROUTER optical circuit breakers (Record 23332772), and Human-in-Command (HIC) governance (Record 23375986), this monograph formalizes the exact mathematical, thermodynamic, and graph-theoretic mechanics of two-tier communication circuit breakers under high-load boundary testing (N = 300). We prove four core results: (1) Supercritical Hawkes Burst Dynamics: Modeling sequential reply bursts via a self-exciting Hawkes point process, we derive the exact phase transition where packet influx exceeds token-bucket depletion, triggering Tier-1 platform suspension; (2) Cognitive Denial-of-Service (C-DoS) & Landauer Attention Saturation: Because human conscious sensory-cognitive throughput is strictly bounded by C_cog ≈ 50 bits/s, unthrottled notification bursts induce buffer overflow in the recipient's working-memory queue, necessitating Tier-2 manual intervention; (3) Topological Adjacency Severance vs. Shadow-Sink Projection: We formalize the exact operator algebra distinguishing Block (rank-1 adjacency matrix annihilation) from Mute (asymmetric projection onto a null notification kernel while preserving sender-side observability); and (4) Zero-Knowledge Rate Attestation (QFS-zkVM) & Hardware Cutoff: We upgrade fragile software rate-limiters with 64-bit Goldilocks STARK rate proofs (F_p, p = 2^64 - 2^32 + 1) and sub-7.0 ns physical interlocks.
