Pola Stimulasi Verbal dalam Lingkungan Keluarga dan Perannya terhadap Pemerolehan Kosakata Semantik pada Anak Usia 5 Tahun

Semantic vocabulary acquisition in early childhood relies heavily on the quality of linguistic input within the home environment. However, there is a gap between theoretical ideals of verbal stimulation and actual family communication practices, which are often limited to one-way instructional patterns. This study aims to analyze parents' verbal stimulation patterns and their role in the semantic vocabulary acquisition of five-year-old children. This study employs a psycholinguistic approach with a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with five child subjects and their families in Padangan, Kedungsari, and Kaliboto villages. The results demonstrate that children exposed to two-way, narrative-based conversations possess more mature fast mapping capabilities compared to those receiving only brief instructions. The key findings reveal that the quality of verbal interactions that stimulate a child's imaginative world is a decisive factor in linguistic intelligence development. The conclusion of this study is that the parent's role as an active conversational partner is crucial in assisting children to organize their life experiences into a more expressive and meaningful language structure.
