Draconarius jiafu Zhang, Zhu & Wang, 2017 as a junior synonym of Coelotes galeiformis Wang, Yin, Peng & Xie, 1990 (Araneae, Agelendiae): evidence from sex association, with notes on its uncertain generic placement

During our fieldwork in Bishan District, Chongqing Municipality, two coelotine spiders were collected from two adjacent burrows and were identified as the female of C . galeiformis and the male of D . jiafu , respectively. DNA barcoding confirmed that the two specimens are conspecific. Coelotes galeiformis Wang, Yin, Peng & Xie, 1990 is proposed as a senior synonym of Draconarius jiafu Zhang, Zhu & Wang, 2017, syn. nov., based on the correction of their sex association. Thus, the male of C . galeiformis is described and illustrated for the first time, and the female is redescribed. Photos, diagnoses, and detailed descriptions are provided.
