MODEL TATA KELOLA ZISWAF PRODUKTIF BERBASIS MADRASAH DALAM PENGUATAN KEMANDIRIAN EKONOMI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM PADA SD ISLAM AN NAHLU KISARAN SUMATERA UTARA

This study analyzes the management of Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf (ZISWAF) and formulates a productive governance model to strengthen the economic self-reliance of Islamic education at SD Islam An Nahlu in Kisaran, North Sumatra. An applied case study design utilizing a qualitative approach was employed, involving interviews, focus group discussions, observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was conducted through coding, categorization, triangulation, and stakeholder confirmation. The findings reveal strong community trust and a philanthropic culture; however, collection remains incidental and unintegrated with school management. Furthermore, funds are not segregated based on specific contractual agreements (*akad*), utilization is predominantly consumptive, and there is a lack of adequate functional division and reporting mechanisms. The study produced the Integrated Productive ZISWAF Governance Model for Islamic Schools (IPZG Model), which links institutional aspects, transparency, accountability, participation, fund productivity, and economic self-reliance. The model's novelty lies in integrating productive ZISWAF with school-based management to create a participatory, traceable, and sustainable education financing system.
