Localisation of a dynamic green supply chain model: leveraging sustainable development for greener future

This research was designed at the national level with the aim stated in the title of the article. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Group Analytic Hierarchy Process (GAHP). Structural and operational differences among generation, distribution, and transmission sectors have had varying impacts on this relationship. For instance, in generation sector, the use of green technologies and renewable energy has a greater impact on reducing environmental effects, while in the distribution sector, improving network efficiency and reducing energy losses are among the top priorities. From a theoretical perspective, this research contributes to filling the gaps in the literature on the localisation of green supply chain models in developing countries by proposing a comprehensive framework for a dynamic green supply chain. From a practical standpoint, the findings of this study can assist electricity industry managers in enhancing organisational capabilities and focus to achieve sustainable development goals.
