Abstract

Complete illustrated English and French editions of Learning to Welcome the Answer / Apprendre à accueillir la réponse, a research essay by Jean-Sébastien Beaulieu. English abstract I examine what it means to welcome a mathematical answer produced with artificial intelligence while preserving the understanding that makes an answer useful. The article begins with my response to OpenAI's release of mathematical manuscripts and the perspective acquired through four years of work on my own project.
