Reconstructed baryon transition current structure (N(1440) Roper radial excitation F2 form factor) via selective flattening: Insights from Patterson function analysis

This study refines the reconstruction of the Pauli‑type transition current density of the N(1440) Roper radial excitation F₂ through selective flattening. The analysis reveals a sharply localized positive core with a half‑maximum radius of 0.0618 fm, accompanied by a weaker diffuse negative shell. Grid‑based integration shows that the dominant positive contribution (3.54) is only partially offset by the smaller negative component (−0.73), yielding a net transition current of 2.81. These results emphasize the compact spatial structure of the Roper excitation F₂ and provide direct empirical imaging of baryonic substructure.
