A Theology of Temporal Placement: An Archival Hermeneutic for the Management and Preservation of Unanswerable Trauma
Contemporary philosophical theology and pastoral trauma discourses frequently operate under a rigid imperative of immediate therapeutic resolution, forced emotional integration, or premature ethical reconciliation. When confronting severe, transgenerational existential ruptures—events that are historically unverifiable, relationally non-reciprocal, or permanently unresolved—this demand for immediate closure constitutes a form of secondary institutional violence. This paper introduces A Theology of Temporal Placement (Temporal Placement Hermeneutics). Shifting the fundamental theological locus from "How to solve or eliminate suffering?" to "How to order, defer, and entrust the unfinished within the divine architecture?", this methodology deploys the Apothecary Cabinet not as a passive psychological defense, but as a rigorous, four-tier archival system for human survival, preservation, and ultimate redemptive testimony.
