Stakeholder Mapping: Introduction - INSPIRE Project
This presentation was developed within the INSPIRE project (Integrated Short-Term Palliative Rehabilitation in Incurable Cancer) to introduce the stakeholder mapping process supporting project dissemination and knowledge transfer activities under Work Package 8 (WP8). The presentation outlines the purpose of stakeholder identification, focusing on individuals, groups and organisations that may influence or be influenced by INSPIRE. It provides an approach for identifying relevant stakeholders and assessing their potential contribution to the project's activities. The presentation covers: Stakeholder identification: Identifying individuals, groups and organisations that may be directly or indirectly affected by INSPIRE or influence its outcomes and dissemination activities. Stakeholder brainstorming: Encouraging project partners to identify relevant stakeholders and key organisations in their respective countries. Stakeholder analysis: Assessing stakeholders' potential impact and likely interest in INSPIRE, in collaboration with WP8 partners. Stakeholder prioritisation: Selecting three to four key stakeholders for closer engagement while maintaining communication with a wider group of stakeholders. Guiding questions: Providing practical questions to help partners identify potential supporters and organisations involved in palliative rehabilitation. The resource was prepared to support a coordinated approach to stakeholder mapping across the INSPIRE consortium and may serve as a reference for other research projects planning stakeholder identification and engagement activities.
