Discovery of a New Distant Candidate Open Cluster in Cygnus behind NGC 6888 using Gaia DR3 Astrometry
We report the discovery of a previously uncatalogued, highly coherent candidate open cluster (designated here as **HR-Clusters 1**) located in the Cygnus constellation along the line of sight of the Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888). By isolating stars with highly uniform proper motions and consistent trigonometric parallaxes from the **Gaia Data Release 3 (DR3)** database, the *HR-Clusters* algorithm successfully extracted a population of 15 members located in the deep background of the Galactic plane, well beyond the nebular structure.
