THE USE OF KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS) IN ENTERPRISE COMPETITIVENESS MANAGEMENT
This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in enterprise competitiveness management. It focuses on the role of KPIs in translating strategic objectives into measurable outcomes, integrating fi nancial and non-fi nancial indicators, and supporting the development of sustainable competitive advantages. A step-by-step model for developing an enterprise KPI system is proposed, encompassing fi nancial stability, customer-related performance, internal business processes, innovation activity, and employee development. Particular attention is given to the measurability of objectives, the allocation of responsibility, the reliability of data, and the regular review of performance indicators. The practical application of the proposed approach can contribute to improving strategic control, the quality of managerial decision-making, and the overall eff ectiveness of enterprise competitiveness management.
