This study aims to examine the anatomy of the curriculum, including objectives, content, learning strategies, and evaluation. This study uses a library research method by analyzing relevant books, journals, and previous studies. The results show that objectives, content, learning strategies, and evaluation are interrelated curriculum components. Objectives provide the direction of learning, content includes learning materials and experiences, strategies serve as ways to achieve objectives, while evaluation determines learning achievement. At the MI level, curriculum components also integrate general knowledge with Islamic values. Therefore, the integration of curriculum components is essential to create well-directed learning that is appropriate to students’ characteristics.
