Proof of the Continuum Hypothesis
German mathematician Cantor proposed the concept of equipotence for two infinite sets: if a one-to-one mapping can be constructed between the elements of two infinite sets, they are called equipotent. Why can one-to-one mapping distinguish the power of sets? This article provides a clear explanation using computational methods. There are two types of one-to-one mapping: partial field bijective mapping and full field bijective mapping. If these two mappings are not distinguished, it is easy to lead to fallacies when using the method of proof by contradiction to prove non-equipotence. It has been proven through computational methods that Real numbers and natural numbers are not equipotent. This also yields a method for proving irrationality. Finally, the continuum hypothesis was discussed.
