Nomenclatural Notes on the Genus Meyna (Rubiaceae, Vanguerieae) With Lectotypification of Five Names
ABSTRACT The lectotypification of five names in the genus Meyna ( M. spinosa , M. tetraphylla , M. velutina , M. grisea , and M. pubescens ) is presented. Further, we clarified the nomenclature of the genus name, originally published by Robyns in his monograph Tentamen Monographiae Vangueriae Generumque Affinium . A comprehensive taxonomic treatment of the genus Meyna , along with a diagnostic key at species rank, is also provided.
