Whole-Genome and Functional Potential Analysis of Pu'er Tea-Associated Heyndrickxia coagulans
This project investigates the Pu'er tea-associated strain Heyndrickxia coagulans TEA1 through whole-genome sequencing, genome assembly, structural and functional annotation, comparative genomics, and phylogenetic analysis. The study evaluates stress-response capacity, carbohydrate-active enzymes, secondary-metabolite-associated gene clusters, and genomic features relevant to preliminary safety assessment. The results will support genome-based characterization, future functional validation, and the development of microbial resources for fermented tea research.
