Based on the Slovin formula calculation, a sample of 226 respondents was obtained and selected using the disproportionate stratified random sampling technique.. Data were collected using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) developed by Zimet et al. The findings revealed that social support had a significant effect on the adjustment of overseas students at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Samarinda. Students who perceived higher levels of social support tended to demonstrate better adjustment to academic, social, and personal aspects of university life. Support received from family, friends, and significant others helped students cope with various challenges encountered during their study away from home. Therefore, support from family, peers, and the university environment should be strengthened to help students adapt successfully to campus life.
